Dear friends, It is my pleasure to inform you that I will participate in Artexpo New York 2021 that takes place from 28-31 October. This is my second participation in the New York Show. As you probably know well, Artexpo New York is the largest, oldest and best established art fair in New York. My three artworks “Dear Grid Worker No.1,3,4”(2018) will be displayed at the Agora Gallery (NYC) Booth.

Dear friends,
I was looking forward to Spectrum Brooklyn from September 10th, but on July 20th, I received an email from the director of World Wide Art Gallery (US), and I was very disappointed to know that the organizer canceled the Brooklyn event. I had already shipped my two works that were scheduled to be exhibited at the Brooklyn show to the United States, so I wondered what to do. However, thanks to the warm consideration of the director, I will be able to participate in Spectrum – Red Dot Miami, which will be held there from December 1st to December 5th, 2021. Many thanks for your kind compassion, Thomas! Thank you very much!
When the exhibition date approaches, I will post detailed information such as venue and time again.

This painting was inspired by Malcolm Lowry’s “Under the Volcano”. Firmin is the name of the main character in the novel, and he’s a terrible, really terrifying alcoholic. I am very happy to have the opportunity to present this work for the first time in Spectrum Brooklyn!

Spectrum Brooklyn will be the first large art fair in New York open to the public, since the beginning of the COVID pandemic, and there is already a lot excitement among collectors and art lovers about this event. This is a new show (first edition). Brooklyn is New York’s new “hot” art neighborhood, full of galleries and studios. This show is expected to have extensive local and out of town attendance. It is my pleasure to inform you that VIRTUAL ART FAIR 2021 organized by CONTEMPORARY ART STATION opened on April 1st, 2021. The Art Show is held by the London-based organization from April 1st to June 1st, 2021. This is my first participation in Virtual Exhibition/Art Fair in my artist career, that’s why I’m very excited! You can find my eight artworks from last year “Untitled 2020 ーfrom the series Green and White Paintingsー” on view now at the Virtual Booth(B-16). It’s included 37 participating artists from 18 countries in the Art Fair. Admission free. Please enjoy both the Exhibition Space and the Online Catalog!
P.S. I found such an online exhibition to be a great solution in this difficult situation of the COVID-19 pandemic. So, please imagine and follow what I’m thinking about right now.
There is a small gallery in the forest…, The walls of the gallery are green…, The season is spring…, A lot of butterflies are flying in the garden…, Many flowers are in full bloom…, New green leaves are very beautiful…, And when you open the door of the gallery, you can hear the sound of a doorbell. Then, you can find a mysterious cat at the entrance…, And the cat guides you through the rooms…, My artworks are hung on the walls…, You can see the paintings and labels well by clicking…, There is a small sofa in the living room…, And you can also drink a cup of tea/coffee there…, There is a donation box at the exit, and if you like this solo show, you can donate voluntarily. Of course, you are free to choose whether to donate or not. But now the artists are in this pandemic, have no income and their lives are very difficult, so the donations will help their lives.
Then, I have already considered the autumn version of this gallery. It means, my idea is to hold a solo exhibition at this gallery in the forest at least twice a year, in spring and autumn. Unfortunately, I don’t have this kind of computer technology, so I would be very happy if anyone could create such a virtual gallery. I would like to work with him/her, and we do it all virtually! It’s my current projects and inspiration. Thank you.

僕にとって、キャリアで初めてのバーチャル展覧会への参加になります。
昨年制作した緑と白のシリーズ作品 Untitled 2020 ーfrom the series Green and White Paintingsー を8作品ともすべて展示いたします。
世界中から37名のアーティストが参加予定ですが、詳しいことがわかり次第、また後日お知らせいたします。
コロナ禍でもくさらずに制作を続けてきて、この度、お声をかけていただけてよかったです。
これからは、こうしたオンラインでの展覧会やアートフェアが、これまで以上にますますごく普通になってくるでしょうね。
